We are seeking a Community Engagement Manager who will be responsible for managing, providing support to and continuing to expand the organisation’s volunteer programs including our state-based chapters, school programs and an in-house volunteer program.
The Community Engagement Manager will also be responsible for the coordination of UN Women Australia’s national events.
The successful applicant should address the following selection criteria:
- 1-3 years of experience in a volunteer management or similar role;
- A minimum of 1 year experience in event management, PR or similar;
- Demonstrated relationship management skills;
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to manage competing demands and tight deadlines in an efficient manner.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative;
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Additional desirable criteria include:
- A qualification in events management or similar; andknowledge and experience with databases and website content management system software.
